Hello, we are a friendly and uncomplicated family from Germany and are looking for a babysitter for our two sweet girls at regular intervals. We do not live permanently on the island, but we are there almost every month and sometimes for several weeks. We would like the babysitter to treat the children as family. Childcare is particularly required in the afternoon or evening (ie playing with the children, having dinner together and putting them to bed), but sometimes also during the day and sometimes at the weekend. We would prefer a teacher in training or someone with experience as a babysitter. Our older daughter is 4.5 and our youngest is 16 months old. While our eldest is already very independent, the smallest still needs support - so we would be happy to have someone who has experience in dealing with small children. The kids mainly speak German but do understand a little bit of English. Me, the mom, is also speaking a little Spanish. So we would be fine with somebody speaking English or Spanish but you should definitely be able to understand and communicate in german as well as the kids are not able to speak English or Spanish yet.
